This is an example of an interface written in Visual Basic to test gas pump flow
meters. This was the main control screen to perform the testing. The
actual Visual Basic program uses DDE links to communicate to a remote Mitsubishi
PLC. The operator can change various parameters including flow rates, volume
setpoints, and dwell times.
We also wrote the PLC ladder logic program to work with the Visual Basic program.
This particular machine controls a pump and a flow control valve and various other
devices.
