This is an example of a Visual Basic nutritional labeling program. It
takes the ingredients and nutritional information from an export file (ESHA Research
Genesis R&D compatible) and automatically generates a label which can be printed
on virtually any of the Barcode Label Printers on the market. The label information
is stored in database which is readable by popular printing software (Labelview
compatible).
The system will automatically generate an ingredient statement based on a database
lookup table that links a long ingredient name to a shortened version.
